Recently I had a member of www.mommy2baustin.com email me asking if I would like to put an ad in their magazine. Since my kids will both be in school soon this is the best time for me to start advertising. This way if I get busy I won't have to turn anyone down because I will have time to do shoots during the week and work on photos without the chilluns pulling at my sides the whole time.
I agreed to post an ad with her and asked if we could exchange banners or links, etc.. so maybe I could get a discount on the ad rate. Well she emailed me today and asked if I knew any moms who would like to post a story on their website about their birth story. If they did I could include my pictures with the story and my name and credits would be in the feature post! How cool is that! I'm know I'm super excited and maybe going a little overboard- but hey this is a foot in the door right?? I'm so excited. My most recent client agreed to tell her story about home birth, the benefits and details so she could promote it to other mommies.
