Naomi and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day

What to do, where to go, how to deal?
Well yesterday was not a good day. Almost the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.

My husband came home in a pretty depressed mood and told me that he had been laid off. Actually the entire Austin division is "no more". He told me that the CEO of the company had called everyone in for a meeting to tell them "unfortunately ------ is no more." No notice, no warning, no preparation. WTF! My husband was pretty upset. We are building a house that is due to be done in about 7 weeks. SEVEN WEEKS PEOPLE!. I have no idea what we are going to do now. I am a SAHM, so there if virtually no income there. I have put the photography on hold for a few months to prepare for the move, pack, garage sale, get the new house ready, etc.. We have money but no constant income, without that there is no way we will get approved for a loan. IDK. We are trying to get some things figured out atm and hoping that we will be able to work everything out. The lender told us that she would need 30 days of paystub or income and a verbal confirmation from a job. That means my husband would need to get a job by next week, start working and start getting paid no later than the 31st. YEAH RIGHT! In his line of work that is just not going to happen. He is a software programmer that makes pretty good money and just the interview process usually takes at least a week or two.

UGH! This is so frustrating. We have been planning on that house, just put money down on a new couch, selling our stuff for the move....

If you know of anyone hiring in Austin for computer jobs, software, techy stuff- lol please let me know. He needs to have something set in stone QUICK! Like he needed it yesterday, without 30 days of proof of income we cannot get the loan we need, which means no house, which means we won't have anywhere to go. SUCK :(
